Ingredients
- 2/3 c sugar
- 2/3 c soy sauce
- 1/2 c 7-up
- 1/2 c lemon juice
- 2 T garlic powder
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 8 chicken breast halves
- 2 T BBQ sauce
Preparation
Step 1
In bowl, combine first 7 ingredient. Pour 1 1/2 c marinade into Ziploc bag; add chicken. Seal bag and turn to coat. Chill overnight. Refrigerate rest of marinade.
Drain and discard marinade from chicken. Add BBQ sauce to extra marinade.
Grill chicken, basting often
