    oz.sliced flank or round steak

    T.minced lemongrass

  • 1/2

    t. peeled and minced ginger

  • 1/2

    t. minced garlic

  • 1/2

    t. fish sauce

  • 1/2

    t. sesame oil

  • 1/2

    t. honey

  • 1

    t. red chili flakes

  • 1

    t. five spice powder

  • 1

    t. kosher salt

  • 2

    T.oil

  • 1/4

    cup sliced red onion

  • 1/2

    bunch sliced green onion

  • 1

    cup bean sprouts

  • 2

    T. hoisen sauce

  • 1

    T. ground peanuts

    thai basil leaves

Directions

Heat oil in wok and heat over high. Add red onion and bean sprouts and sear for 1 minute. Set aside on serving platter. Add beef to very hot wok and sear until rare. Add hoisen sauce and toss until coated. Add peanuts and basil and cook until beef is medium rare. Serve meat over onions and bean sprouts.
