Jennifer's Cheese Grits

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup grits (quick grits, not instant)
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 1b Velveeta
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • 2 tsp salt
  • garlic powder to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Bring water to boil -- add grits. Cook until water absorbs. Add eggs, butter, Velveeta, salt and garlic powder on low heat. Stir until melts. Serve.

+ Can pour into a greased pan and bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes (more for company)
