Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 large ggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon orange extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspon salt
- 1 (12 oz.) bag white chocolate morsels
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1 cp chopped pistachios
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Line baking wheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, beat butter, and sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla and orange extract.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to butter mixture beating until combined. Beat in white chocolate morsels, oats and pistachios.
Drop by heaping tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned. Let cool on pans for 2 minutes. Remove from pans. and cool completely on wire racks. Store in airtight containers.
Makes about 4 1/2 dozen cookis.
