Venison (or Beef) Tips

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds venison or lean beef stew meat (cut in 1-inch cubes)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sherry
  • 1 medium clove garlic, minced
  • 2 cans (10 1/2 ounce each) condensed golden mushroom soup
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Cooked noodles or rice (I like to use brown rice)

Preparation

Step 1

In skillet, brown meat in butter. Add remaining ingredients (except noodles or rice). Cover and cook over low heat 2 hours or until tender, stirring now and then. Serve over noodles or rice.
