Dijon Vinaigrette Marinade

This is a great marinade for fowl, seafood, pork, beef and lamb.
Especially good for grilling! Enough for about 2 pounds of meat.
I like it with grilled chicken breasts - one of our favorites!

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon specialty vinegar (tarragon, balsamic, white wine or almost any kind except plain or cider)
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon style mustard (you can add more

  • 1/4 cup Wishbone Olive Oil Vinaigrette
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon style mustard (you can add more
  • depending on your taste)

Preparation

Step 1

In a large shallow non aluminum bowl or plastic bag, combine dressing and mustard. Add pepper to taste.
If making your own thoroughly combine the vinegar and oil then combine with the mustard.
You can add other ingredients to the marinade, minced garlic, minced ginger, minced onions or minced shallots.
Add meat and turn to coat.
Cover, or close and marinate for at least 3 hours.
Discard leftover marinade.
