Crumb Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 c flour
  • 1 c white sugar
  • 1 c butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 t nutmeg
  • 1/2 t cinnamon
  • 1 T vinegar
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 t baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

2 c flour
1 c white sugar
1 c butter
Mix with pastry cutter until crumbs form. Reserve 1 cup for topping.
To remainder, add:
2 eggs
1/2 t nutmeg
1/2 t cinnamon
add 1 T vinegar to 1 c milk, stir in 1 t baking soda
Mix all together, put the reserved crumbs over top. Bake in buttered 8"x10"pan @ 350F for 35-40 min.
