Ingredients

  • 1

    cup canned pumpkin

  • 1/2

    cup brown sugar

  • 1/4

    cup sugar

  • 1/2

    cup oil

  • 1

    egg

  • 1

    Tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 2

    cups flour

  • 2

    teaspoons baking powder

  • 2

    teaspoons cinnamon

  • 1

    teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1/2

    teaspoon salt

  • 1

    teaspoon baking soda

  • 2

    cups chocolate chips

  • 1/2

    cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions

•Combine pumpkin, sugar, oil, egg, and vanilla. Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and baking soda. Add flour mix slowly to pumpkin & mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips and walnuts. •Drop by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet. Bake at 350* for 9-10 minutes. Let cool on pan for 2-3 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in a sealed container.
