Kimberly's Squash Patties

  • 1-1/4 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 T. oil
  • 4 cups grated squash (about 6 medium)
  • 1 medium onion, grated
  • pepper to taste



Step 1

Combine flour, sugar, salt, sour cream, egg and oil; blend until smooth.
Stir in squash and onion, then pepper.

Drop by tablespoons into hot greased skillet. Cook until brown, turning once. Drain on paper towels.
