Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs russet potatoes
  • 1 tsp McCormick California Style Crushed Garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 butter, cut into chunks
  • 1/2 shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp Parsley flakes
  • or you can use 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Preparation

Step 1

Place potatoes in a 2 quart pan. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Drain and return potatoes to pan. Add garlic and salt.
Mash with mixter gradually adding milk, then butter. Stir in cheese and parsley.
