cannoli recipe: Joyce Tite

Ingredients

  • 3 c. Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/4 t. Vanilla
  • 1/4 c. Copped dried fruid (used for fruit cakes
  • 1-1/4 c. Powered sugar
  • 1/4 t. Cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. Mini Chocolate chips
  • 1/4 c. Pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Drain Ricotta cheese and beat for 1 min.
Add pow. sugar and beat til creamy about 5 min.
Add: cinnamon,vanilla,dried fruit,choc. chips,pecans, beat til mixed
Stuff shells. I purchase mine ( because they're so tedious and time consuming to make)
at Missouri Bakery on the Hill. I also understand that Shop n Save has mini Cannoli Shells.

Fill Shells. Sprinkle with Powered Sugar
You can decorate the ends with Maraschino Cherries or the Chocolate Chips.
AND you can vary the recipe.. Use nuts and Choc chips on some.
Use dried fruit with nuts...just mix um up for a variety.
