Ingredients

• 1 c shortening
• 2 c sugar
• 4 egggs
• 3 c cake flour
• 3 tsp baking powder
• 1 c milk
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

combine shortening and sugar - cream well
beat in eggs one at a time
combine cake flour and baking powder
add milk, vanilla and salt
bake at 325-350 for 35-40 mins
