Ingredients
- 3 C all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs
- 2 C white sugar
- 1 C vegetable oil
- 2 C applesauce
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 t ground cinnamon
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/4 t baking powder
- 1/2 C sour cream

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 and grease and flour 2 9x5 loaf pans.
Beat together eggs, sugar, and oil. Blend in applesauce, and then sour cream. Mix in flour, baking powder, soda, and cinnamon. Stir in raisins.
Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 60 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted near the center comes back out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes in pan before taking a butter knife and loosening the edges of the bread from the pan. Turn out bread onto a wire baker's rack and cover with a dry towel until completely cooled.
