Chicken Fried Steak

  • cubed steaks
  • 15 eggs
  • 1 gallon buttermilk
  • flour
  • salt and pepper
  • clarified butter

Preparation

Step 1

Season steaks with salt and pepper. Whisk eggs and buttermilk together.

Dip steaks in egg/buttermilk mixture and coat with flour. Fry in clarified butter until browned, pouring some clarified butter over the tops of the steaks. Turn the steaks and continue to cook until done.

Serve with mashed potatoes and gravy.
