Ingredients
- 1 c flour
- 1 T sugar(3 T for dessert shortcakes)
- 2 T dry milk
- 1 t salt
- 1 t b soda
- (1 egg for dessert shortcakes)
Preparation
Step 1
With pastry blender add 1/2 c margaerine. Add 1 c starter sponge and 1/2 c flour to make dough.
Knead. Roll out 1/2 inch thick, cut in 1/2 place 1 over the other and roll again. Repeat 8x. cut out, put on ungreased sheet. brush tops with butter or oil. Stand 30 minutes. Bake 30 minutes at 375
