Lemon Pineapple Jello Dessert

Ingredients

  • 2 3 oz pkgs Lemon Jello or 2 3 oz pkgs pineapple Jello
  • 2 1/2 C water
  • 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
  • 1 20 oz can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • Small Cool Whip (for topping)
  • 1/2 C chopped walnuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

In medium sauce pan mix jello and water stir jut until mixed
Add pineapple and cream cheese
Cook over medium hat until cream cheese is dissolved (it will not look very good but it is okay)
When cream cheese is completely melted, pour into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Chill overnight
Top with thawed Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts if desired
