Pork Chops Provencale *(GOOD)*

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes, with liquid
  • 1 cup whole mushrooms
  • 1 large onion, cut in eights
  • 2 green peppers, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In 5 or 6 quart pan, over medium heat, brown pork chops in a little oil. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and place in oven for 45 minutes. Remove from oven.

Turn pour chops and stir the vegetables. Simmer, uncovered, on top of stove for 8-10 minutes.

Serve with hot rice.
