Ingredients
- 1 boneless beef sirloin tip roast (about 3 pounds)
- 1 to 2 tbs coarsely ground pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 3 tbs balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp ground mustard
- 2 tbs cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water
Preparation
Step 1
Rub roast with pepper and garlic; cut in half and place in a 3-qt. slow cooker. Combine the soy sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and mustard; our over beef. Cover and cook on low for 5 1/2 - 6 hours or until the meat is tender.
Remove roast and keep warm. Strain cooking juices into a saucepan; skim fat. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth; gradually stir into cooking juices. Bring to a boil; cook and stir 2 minutes until thickened. Serve with beef.
