Orange-Pecan Refrigerator Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg beaten
• 1 tbs grated orange
• 2 tbs orange juice
• 2 3/4 cups flour
• 1/4 tsp soda
• 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar, then add egg rind and juice. mix dry ingredients and add to wet and mix. Roll into 2" balls and wrap in wax paper. chill in the refrigerator for several hours. Slice the balls into thin slices and bake on a cookie sheet at 375° for 10-20 minutes.
