Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bacon, fried & crumbled
  • 8 to 10 slices white bread, crusts removed
  • 2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 doz. eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

After frying bacon, grease a 9 x 13 inch pan with oil. Arrange bread to form single layer covering bottom of pan. Next layer is bacon; then sprinkle cheese. Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over everything. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour (uncovered). Do not overcook. Serves 10 to 12.
