- 3 Cups of Strawberries
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Water
- 3 Tablespoons Lemon Juice

In a medium pan, combine 2 cups of strawberries, 1/2 cup of sugar, 3 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of water. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Boil gently uncovered, for 15-20 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Stir in the remaining 1 cup of strawberries and cook for 2 more minutes.
Cool. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
You can use other fruits instead of strawberries for this topping (blueberries, etc.).
