Linguine With Red Clam Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablesp. fresh minced garlic
  • 1 Tablesp. Wesson Canola Oil
  • 1 cup low salt chicken broth
  • 1 (6 1/2-OZ.) can minced clams, drained
  • 1 (6-oz.) can Hunt’s No Salt Added Tomato Paste
  • 1/4 cup EACH: fresh chopped parsley and basil
  • 1/2 teasp. sugar
  • 1/8 teasp. crushed red pepper
  • V2 lb. linguine, cooked according to package directions

Preparation

Step 1

In medium saucepan, saute garlic in oil until light golden brown. Stir in REMAINING ingredients EXCEPT 1 Tablespoon EACH parsley and basil. Simmer, covered, 20 minutes; stir occasionally. Serve over pasta and garnish with REMAINING parsley and basil. Makes 2 2/3 cups sauce.
