Green Peppers

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb of ground meat
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup rice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • potatoes
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • flour
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes (pureed in a blender)
  • 1/2 to 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together and put into peppers. Put peppers in a roaster with water and cook for 45 minutes. Peel potates and add to roaster. Make a umper with 1/4 cup of oil, add flour to make a paste. Cook for about a minute or two. Add 1 can of tomatoes that have been put thru a ricer and 1/2 to 2/3 Cup of ketchup. Add 1 tbls. of vinegar and 1 tbls. of sugar. Cook until thick (if you want it thick you just add more flour to the umper). Pour into roaster (sometimes you will little lumps, I just smash them against the side of roaster. Cook for another 45 minutes at 350°.
