Balsamic Glazed Heirloom Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 medium heirloom tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons EVOO
  • a bit less than 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoons sugar
  • little less than 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 400F
Slice the Heirlooms thickly across or slices (or combo)
Combine all other ingredients and whisk
Brush tomatoes with dressing
Roast in Oven for ~20 minutes+ (less for thick slices, more for wedges)
