French Toast Logs

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy or whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 12 1/2 inch slices challah bread; cut into logs
  • 3 tablespoon Butter

Preparation

Step 1

In bowl, whisk eggs, cream, vanilla, cinnamon and salt; pour half into 13"
x 9" baking dish. Add logs and let sit 15 minutes or until bread absorbs
mixture, turning over once.

In 12 inch skillet, melt half of butter on medium. Add soaked bread and
cook 8 minutes, until golden on all four sides.

Can make regular French toast by slicing the bread into half inch slices
and soaking half at a time.
