Crisp Chicken And Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 C. flour
  • 2 Tsp. Salt – 1/4 Tsp Pepper
  • 2 Tsp. Paprika
  • canola oil
  • 3-4 chicken breasts, skin on
  • Traditional Southern Biscuits (recipe)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425

Prepare Traditional Southern Biscuits recipe

Mix flour, salt, pepper and paprika in a bag.

Put canola oil in skillet, to roughly 1 inch.

Shake chicken in the bag.

When oil is hot but not smoking, add chicken. Brown on both sides, 5-6 minutes.

Put in baking pan large enough for all of the chicken.

Place the biscuits on the first rack and chicken on the second in the oven. Bake for 20 minutes.
