Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tbls. liquid smoke
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 tbls. butter
  • 2 tbls. wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 2 tbls. brown sugar
  • 4 tbls. lemon juice
  • 1 small bottle catsup
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tbls. worcester sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery

Preparation

Step 1

Roast brisket in open pan for approximately 3 hours at 325 degrees; make day before. Simmer sauce ingredients for 15 minutes. Sllice cold meat and arrange in covered casserole. Pour sauce over and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Slice very thin.
