Ingredients
- 1 pkg Wonton Wrappers
- 1 can Fruit Pie Filling
- 1/4 cup Water
- 2 tblsp Cornstarch
- Oil for frying
- Powdered Sugar for sprinkling
Preparation
Step 1
Lay out Wonton wrappers.
Mix water & cornstarch in a small bowl and set aside.
Place approximately 2 tblsp of pie filling in center of Wonton. (do not overfill)
Using finger, dip into cornstarch mixture & run finger around the edges of Wonton to seal.
Fold in two opposite end points, then roll, like a burrito.
(at this point these can be frozen on a cookie sheet, then placed in a Ziploc bag to freeze)
Heat oil and fry.
Drain on a paper towel then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
(make a dipping sauce like caramel for the apple, etc)
