Scones: Almond Flour & Berry Scones

Good moist scones made of almond flour; add fruits, chocolate, nuts--any combination

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 t. sea salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 T. honey or other natural sweetener; OR 4 dates, pureed; or baby prunes
  • 1/3 c. melted butter or ghee
  • 1/2 c. fresh or frozen berries

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a baking sheet with butter or coconut oil.
In a medium bowl, mix together dry ingredients.

In a separate bowl, whisk eggs until combined. Add melted butter, and honey.

Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in berries.

Drop 1/4 cup of dough onto barking sheet, shape into triangles or plop like cookies.

BAke 15 minutes.
