Ingredients
- 4 boneless beef rib eye steaks
- 1 T. olive oil
- 1 T. garlic powder
- 1 T. paprika
- 2 t. dried ground thyme
- 2 t. dried ground oregano
- 1 1/2 t. pepper
- 1 t. each: salt, lemon pepper, cayenne pepper and ground red pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Brush steaks lightly with oil. In a small bowl, combine all seasonings. Sprinkle seasonings over steaks and press into both sides. Cover and chill for 1 hour.
Grill steaks, turning once, over medium-hot coals 17-22 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 145 degrees for medium-rare, 160 degrees for medium and 170 degrees for well-done. Place on a warm serving platter, cut across the grain into thick slices.
