Ingredients
- Supplements:
- 1/2 to 1 1/2 to 1 1 cup liquid (milk, soy milk, coconut milk, almond milk, tea, fruit juice, vegetable juice, ice cream, sherbet, yoghurt, sparkling water, water)
- 1 1 1 cup fruit (frozen fruit works especially well, and keeps for a long time in the freezer)
- Sweeteners help cover the taste of other supplements and take the tang out of smoothies made with yoghurt: honey, molasses, dates, fruit juice concentrate, maple syrup.
- Yoghurt adds protein and calcium
Preparation

The more fruit used, the thicker the smoothie will be, and some could even be served in a dish as ice cream would be.
Bananas, when frozen, take on a creamy texture. Half a banana is a rough equivalent to 1 cup of fruit.
