BARBECUE BEEF SANDWICHES

Ingredients
- 3 lb boneless beef chuck roast
- 3 t oil
- 1 C water
- 2 1/2 C ketchup
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 C chopped onion
- 1 C green pepper
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1/2 t ground cumin
- 1/4 C fresh jalapeno
- 1/4 C grape jelly
- 2 to 4 T honey
- 2 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 t hot pepper sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 t chili powder
- 1 T liquid smoke
- hamburger buns

Preparation
Step 1
Trim fat from roast. Brown meat on all sides in hot oil in a Dutch oven. Add water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours or meat is tender. Remove meat and cool. Skim fat from juices. Shred or chop meat.
Place meat and all ingredients in Dutch oven. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 to 3 hours. Serve on hamburger buns.
