Ingredients

  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup liquid smoke
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 2 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lowery's season salt
  • 1 cup onion; chopped
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 6 pound brisket

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 275°F.

Put sauce in large pyrex or heavy metal baking pan. Turn brisket once or
twice in pan to coat and then be sure to put fat side up, Tightly seal pan
with aluminum foil and bake 5 - 7 hours or about 1 hour 15 minutes per
pound. Check for tenderness; it should be falling apart.

Remove from oven and let stand for an hour. Cut across grain and serve with
sauce.

Second day, shred and heat and serve on buns for beef barbecue.
