Creamy Rice with Peas & Mushrooms

  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing
  • 1 small can, drained mushrooms
  • 1 can (14 1/2 oz) chicken broth
  • 1 cup frozen peas (or canned)
  • 2 cups white rice, uncooked
  • 4 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 cup grated parm. cheese



Step 1

Heat dressing in large saucepan on medium high heat for 2 minutes. Add mushrooms; cook 2-3 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Add broth and peas, stir. Bring to boil. Stir in rice and cream cheese; cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 8 minutes. Stir in parm. cheese.
