Santa Claus Cookies

Not sure why they are called Santa Claus cookies, unless they were cookies made to leave out for Santa. A favorite recipe from my mom & grandma

Ingredients

• 1 c. butter or margarine
• 3/4 c. sugar
• 3/4 c. brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 c. flour
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1 tsp. salt
• 2 tsp. cinnamon
• 1 tsp. nutmeg
• 1 tsp. ground cloves
• 1 c. oatmeal

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugars together. Add egg and mix well.
Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll into small balls and flatten on cookie sheet with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 for 15 min.
