Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup fresh white breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 1/2 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 tsp worchestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 pound crabmeat
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Lemon wedges

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix breadcrumbs and eggs in a medium bowl.Add parsley, mayonnaise, worchestershire sauce and old bay.Stir to combine. Mix in crabmeat and slat and pepper to taste
2. Form Crab mixture into six 1/3 " inch thick patties( can be prepared six hours ahead. Cover and refrigerate)
3. Melt buter in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Add patties and cook until golden brown about 4 minutes each side. Transfer to plates and serve with lemon wedges
