Oven Fried Chicken Drumsticks
Nice and crunchy, a big hit with the kids, and skinless makes it healthy!
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp each dried thyme, paprika and salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder and pepper
- 1 1/2 cups crushed cornflakes
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 12 about 12 chicken drumsticks, skin removed
Preparation time 20mins
Cooking time 60mins
Spray large roaster with oil. Set oven to 425 to preheat.
Combine flour and spices in plastic bag.
Combine cornflake crumbs and cheese in another bag.
Soak chicken in buttermilk about 10 min.
Shake chicken in flour mixture, then dip in buttermilk one at a time and shake in cornflake mixture.
Bake approx. 40 minutes.
