Ingredients
- 4 flounder fillets
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 scallions-chopped
- 3/4 tsp. seasoning salt
- 3/4 tsp. dill-dried
- 1/2 cup white, sharp cheddar cheese-grated
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese--grated
- Butter
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Butter baking dish and place fillets in bottom.
Pour wine over fillets. Spread mayonnaise on top.
Cover with scallions. Sprinkle with seasoning salt, dill, cheddar, and parmesan cheese. Bake for approximately 8 minutes. Place under broiler on top rack until bubbly and light brown (2 to 3 minutes)
Serving Ideas
Serve with rice pilaf and steamed broccoli.
Other Options
Stuffed flounder: Spread your favorite fillings/spices on it and roll it up. Spoon your favorite red sauce on top and bake. Serve with buttered noodles and mixed green salad.
