moist textuer with a satisfying rich flavor, this homey meat loaf has an appealing topping of ketchup, mustard and brown sugar.
Ingredients
- Topping:
- 1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup tomato ketchup
- 1/2 tsp. each salt and black peper
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup freash bread crumbs
- 1/4 finely chopped oinons
- 2 tsp. prepard mustard
- 1/4 cup kepchup
- 1/2 tsp. prepard mustard
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
- freash herbs, for garnish, optional

Step 1
preparation:
1. In large bowl, combine ketchup, salt, eggs, bread crumbs, oinons and mustard. mix untill thoroughly blended.
2. add ground beef. mix gently but thoroughly
3.line a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan with fiol. press in the beef mixture.
4. in a seperated bowl, combine the topping ingerdients, mix well. spread topping over the meat loaf.
5. bake at 400 for 35-45 minutes or untill done.
6. drain off fat. reat meat loaf 5 minutes before serving. garnish with freash herbs, if desired.
