Ingredients
- 4 sticks of margarine
- 2 eggs
- 4 bananas
- 1 2/3 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 cans crushed pineapple (15 1/4 oz. size -- drain well)
- 1 large cool whip (10 oz. size)
- 1 bottle maraschino cherries (10 oz. size -- drain well)
- 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans)
Preparation
Step 1
Melt 2 stocks margarine and add graham cracker crumbs. Spread in dish or pan (11 x 13).
Beat eggs, sugar and 2 sticks of margarine (softened at room temperature) for 15 minutes. Spread egg mixture over graham cracker crust. Cut bananas in slices and pour over egg mixture, then spread pineapple (which has been drained well) over bananas. Cover with Cool Whip. Arrange cherries and nuts on top. Chill several hours before serving. (The cherries can also be halved. The recipe can also be halved and put into a 8 x 8 pan.)
