Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
  • 4 oz. sour cream
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 or 3 scallions, chopped
  • Fresh-ground pepper to taste
  • 1/4 C pecans, chopped
  • 1 jar chipped beef

Step 1

Blend first five ingredients well.

Meanwhile, soak beef in bowl of cold water for 1/2 hour. Drain and squeeze beef. Fold into cream cheese mixture.

Sprinkle with nuts and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes, or until bubbling.

This is cool inside a hollowed-out big, pumpernickel round.
