  • Casserole ingredients:

  • 2

    tbsp chopped onion

  • ¼

    cup chopped green pepper

  • ¼

    cup butter or margarine

  • 2

    tbsp flour

  • 2

    cups milk

  • 1

    can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 2

    cups chopped cooked ham

  • Biscuits ingredients:

  • 1

    cup flour

  • tsp baking powder

  • ½

    tsp salt

  • tbsp shortening

  • ¾

    cup grated cheese

  • cup milk


Casserole: Saute onion and green pepper in butter. Remove from heat and blend in flour, milk, and soup. Return to low heat and bring to boil. Stir in ham and place in 9 x 13 baking dish. Biscuits: Mix all ingredients together to form a biscuit dough. Roll out dough and cut into rounds. Place biscuits on top of ham casserole. Bake at 350 degrees until biscuits are done, about 15 minutes. You may turn on the broiler for about 1 minute to brown biscuits, if desired.
