tarte au sirop d'erable simple version
- 1 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 baked, single, 9 inch pie crust
In a saucepan combine maple syrup and cream. Blend cornstarch and water together until smooth and stir into cream mixture. Bring filling to a boil over medium heat and cook for two minutes, stirring constantly until thickened. Pour filling into baked pie shell and let cool until set.
