Ingredients
- 1 bag (12 ounces) fresh or frozen cranberries (magazine recipes shows 2 bags)
- 1 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 orange slice
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated orange peel
Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine cranberries, sugar, water, orange slice and freshly grated orange peel in medium-size saucepan. Stir over high heat 3 minutes, until sugar melts and water starts to boil. Reduce heat; simmer until thickened, 15 minutes. Discard orange. Pour into serving bowl; cool completely.
