Kentucky Bourbon Thanksgiving Turkey

  • Bourbon
  • Cheesecloths

Preparation

Step 1

Pull the breast skin back; sprinkled with spices. Replace skin in its original position and sew skins together.

Soak cheesecloth in bourbon and roll into ball. Insert into the turkey cavity. Cover the turkey with additional cheesecloth. Pour bourbon over the cheesecloth. Marinate for 24 hours prior to cooking.

Remove cheesecloth on top of the turkey leaving cheesecloth in the cavity. Rub with olive oil and cook.

Very moist and tender!
