Mexican Coffee-Flavored Liqueur

Ingredients

• 2 cups water
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1 1/2 cups instant coffee
• 2 cups 80-proof vodka
• 1 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the water, sugar and coffee in a covered saucepan over high heat.

Bring the mixture to a boil and continue to boil for 10 minutes.

Then remove from heat, let cool, and add the vodka and vanilla.

Stir and store in clear glass bottles.
