Ingredients
- 2 C sugar
- 2/3 C evaporated milk
- 12 regular marshmallows
- 1/2 C butter
- Few grains of salt
- 6 oz package chocolate chips
- 1 C cut up nuts
- 1 t vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Mix sugar, evaporated milk, marshmallows, butter and salt in a heavy 2 quart saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat to a boil (mixture will be bubbling all over top). Boil and stir 5 minutes more. Take off heat.
Stir in until completely melted, chocolate pieces. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread in a buttered 8-inch pan. Cool and cut into pieces.
