Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

  • 2 slices white bread
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 small onion, grated
  • salt & pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In a food processor pulse bread until fine crumbs form. Transfer to a medium bowl; add turkey, cheese and onion. Season with salt and pepper and mix gently until just combined.

NOTE: For something different add 1/4 cup salsa to meat mixture and top cooked burgers with roasted poblano peppers slices and caramelized onions.
