Ingredients
- 4 pears, peeled, halved and cored.
- 1 cup white wine
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 strips grapefruit or lemon zest
- 1 vanilla bean, split.
Preparation
Step 1
Put halved pears in a shallow dish with wine, sugar, zest and vanilla bean. Cover with plastic, microwave about 10 minutes. Serve with vanilla syrup from dish.
