Baked Squash Casserole

Whitney Smith made this for me during my first surgery recovery.

Ingredients

  • yellow squash
  • egg
  • sour cream
  • basil
  • salt and pepper
  • cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Slice squash in half and deseed (I used about 6 since they were smallish)
Slice thinly and mix with egg and a little sour cream
Bake at 350 for about 10 min and then top with cheese
Add a little basil for flavor and decoration
Salt and pepper to taste (I usually don’t add salt and pepper as I’m never sure what others tastes are going to be)
